Les Jardins du Manoir d'Eyrignac
The Eyrignac Manor Gardens are undoubtedly the finest gardens in the Perigord. Together with the 17th-century manorhouse, they are classified as Monuments Historiques, and have belonged to the same family for over 500 years. The task of restoring them to their former 18th-century glory began forty years ago, closely following the Italian-influenced French gardens of the time. The result is a masterpiece of the art of topiary, a verdant haven composed of hornbeam, yew, boxwood and cypresses, magnificent and varied in every season. The latest addition, the white rose garden, adds a note of lightness and poetry.Open every day of the year without exception.
